Direct support professional (DSP) positions work independently in peoples homes and in the community - teaching life skills, participating in recreation activities, providing job coaching, supporting families, and more importantly, truly making a difference in a persons life./ppValid NYS drivers license and a reliable vehicle required for most positions./ppAll new hires must complete a five hour initial training online; the training rate is $16.50/hour.
