Our Account Executives are ambassadors of quality Siemens technology, products and services, and your technical and financial expertise, along with critical thinking and negotiation skills, will help tailor our customers needs into winning solutions, for the direct end-user service market./ppAs an Electrical Services Senior Sales Executive, you will:/pulliDevelop a vertical market(s) and geographic account management with a strategic growth plan and educate the market and customers on SIEMENS electrical service capabilities and identify opportunities to address customer needs with SIEMENS solutions and services./liliAttend industry specific networking events and actively participate in organizations as a representative for SIEMENS in the electrical service market and develop and maintain a qualified funnel of electrical service opportunities with emphasis on pipeline management (award and execution dates)/liliDeliver on forecasted results consistently and be capable of identifying and qualifying powers system study opportunities with follow-up remediation, electrical service projects focused on low (600 V) and medium voltage (5-38kV) for both greenfield and brownfield, electrical service agreements, and product refurbishment/retrofit/upgrade opportunities./liliAchieve new order/booking and profit goals based on your assigned quota./liliDevelop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities including forecasting expected order intake. Deliver on forecasted results consistently./liliDevelop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitor offerings, customers, and decision influencers across the region, segments, and verticals within the region. Keep current on electrical business and product trends./liliDevelop a vertical market and account management plan that focuses on strategic growth. Identify new business opportunities to grow in new markets or adjacent segments and develop go to market strategies to drive business to the end user customer and the standard construction channel./liliAct as a consultant to multiple levels of the customers organization by understanding their challenges and recommending services to ensure their building systems perform as required to achieve business goals./liliAttend industry-specific networking events; actively participate in professional organizations such as ASHRAE, AEE or USGBC to build a network of contacts and to represent Siemens in the market./liliConsult with the customer and determine budgeting and investment requirements./liliPosition Siemens as an industry leader among service providers, leveraging Siemens world-class digital service delivery as a key differentiator./liliCollaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes./liliWork with your internal sales support to enable you to spend more time with your customers./liliCollaborate with sales estimators to prepare cost estimates and customer bid packages./liliPartner with other sales business teams to plan, target, and acquire new projects and accounts./liliSet pricing based on identified value of the services offered to the customer./liliWork with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources to obtain the sale./liliActively participate in sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay knowledgeable on current market, business, and product trends./liliExpected to spend minimum 50% of time in customer facing activities, performed in person and on customer site./liliWork with existing customer base supporting their needs as well as act as a hunter to bring in new customers to the business./liliTravel overnight ~20% to 30% for training and business development as required based on your assigned territory./li/ulpTerritory: Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa/ppYou will make an impact with these qualifications:/pulliBasic Qualifications:/liulliHigh School Diploma or state-recognized GED/lili3+ years of sales, business development, or consulting within the electrical industry experience/liliTechnical and commercial knowledge of electrical distribution equipment (120V- 38,000V) systems and applications (preferably within all previously mentioned targeted markets)/liliFinancial expertise to estimate and sell technical solutions and service offerings effectively and independently./liliAccount development and strategic sales skills/liliOrganizational, presentation, and negotiation skills/liliMust be willing and available to travel 5-10% overnight for training and business development./liliVerbal and written communication skills in English/liliExperience with Microsoft Office suite/liliMust be 21 years of age and possess a valid drivers license with limited violations to participate in the required Siemens vehicle reimbursement program (FAVR)/liliLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship/li/ulliPreferred Qualifications:/liulliBachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or another related technical degree/liliExperience in other electrically focused industries such as Utility, Industrial, Distributor, or Contractor is a plus./liliKnowledge of and strong networking relationships within the local electrical market is strongly desired./li/ul/ulpReady to create your own journey?
