Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars./ppThis position will cover the northeast territory in the US (from Columbus Ohio to Maine) and will be remote, with 40% to 50% of traveling within those territories (mainly Boston, NY, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Pennsylvania)./ppIn this role, a typical day will look like:/pulliDeveloping and executing a sales strategy that results in revenue growth in the region./liliBuilding relationships and effectively communicating the benefits and value of McCrometers metering solutions./liliSetting sales goals with channel partners and working collaboratively with them to ensure achievement and sustainment./liliUtilizing and updating the CRM system (Salesforce) with accurate data to effectively manage the funnel of opportunities./liliPreparing sales reports and sales forecasts./liliAttending trade shows and industry conferences to stay abreast of market developments and serve as an ambassador of McCrometers solutions./liliEducating customers, dealers, and distributors on the product portfolio and value proposition./liliFollowing up on customer issues and collaborating cross-functionally to help resolve problems./li/ulpThe essential requirements of the job include:/pulliBS in Business, Marketing, or related fields. Engineering careers are a plus./lili5-7 years of outside sales experience in an industrial business is a must./liliOn-site experience within the Oil and Gas industry is a must./liliDeep knowledge of flow metering and water/wastewater applications is a plus./liliExpert on flow-metering technology and products is a plus./liliExperience in CRMs, Salesforce preferred./li/ulpMcCrometer is proud to part of the Water Quality segment of Veralto, a $5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods.
