Delivery to gain knowledge and understanding of the alcohol distribution industry. The structured internship opportunity is designed to give students exposure to the wine and spirits industry and broad experience in various aspects of the relationship between marketing, sales, and distribution./ppPrimary responsibilities include:/pulliWork with a variety of teams to become familiar in all aspects of the Sales Divisions/liliSupport the Sales departments which include, but are not limited to Category Management, Distribution Warehouse Sales (DWS), Point of Sales (POS), Chain Merchandising Divisions and Graphics/liliParticipate in training, on-site meetings, and department-wide learning opportunities as available/liliParticipate in the setup, working off and tear down of any special events, tastings, or functions as directed by the Supervisor/liliAssist with our On-Premise Surveys/liliSupport the team with additional projects as assigned and defined by students specific learning goals/liliPerform other job-related duties as assigned/li/ulpAdditional primary responsibilities include:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalency plus one year of experience/liliMaintain at a minimum a 2.0 GPA (Grade Point Average)/liliMust be at least 21 years of age/li/ulpPhysical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine. Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
