Responsibilities The role involves analyzing business and technical requirements to create effective test plans, test cases, and scenarios for Salesforce applications. The candidate will execute end-to-end testing for releases and enhancements, including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing. Responsibilities include validating Salesforce configurations, testing core Salesforce clouds and integrations, logging and managing defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. The candidate will support release management, post-production validation, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to improving test coverage, automation effectiveness, and overall quality standards. Required Skill The candidate should have over five years of experience in Salesforce QA and testing with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data models. Hands-on experience in manual testing across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud is required, including testing of configurations such as workflows, flows, validation rules, approval processes, custom objects, and Lightning components. The role requires solid experience in functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing, along with data validation of reports, dashboards, and integrations. Knowledge of SOQL, Salesforce data loading tools, Agile or Scrum methodologies, and proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or ALM are essential. Candidates must have exposure to test automation and experience validating integrations using REST or SOAP APIs. Desired Skill Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or TestNG is preferred. Familiarity with automating regression suites for Salesforce Lightning and Classic, integrating automated tests into CI CD pipelines, and working with tools like Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket is a plus. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder are desirable. Additional exposure to performance or security testing will be an added advantage.
