
Position Summary : The customer service position provides support to customers and works with other company personnel to meet demand.
Essential Functions
Enters and maintains new customer data into Global ERP system Documents each customer point of contact, call, visit, request in Global Answers incoming phone calls Receives and enters customer orders into the Global ERP System; ensures that prints and files are on hand and works with scheduling and estimating to determine pricing and a promised delivery date that provides customers with an order acknowledgement Ensures all customer data is scanned into electronic documents and works with estimating and engineering to ensure questions are answered in a manner that allows Forma Fab to meet the customer’s requested delivery date Maintains a pleasant demeanor and is non-confrontational when dealing with clients and employees Works effectively and efficiently under pressure, performing duties associated with the job Organizes work and handles multiple demand requests Speaks and writes in the English language Possesses basic math skills Clearly communicates Forma Fab processes with regard to accepting a customer order Reads, comprehends, and strictly follows all relevant safety procedures Has MS Word and MS Excel skills; MS Access preferred Assists in other areas as needed Requirements
High school diploma or GED Maintains an outgoing positive attitude at all times and develops positive communications with all customers Requires at least one year of previous customer service experience Has strong computer skills with Microsoft products, Excel, and Windows PowerPoint
