Data Entry- AP department. We're looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with others, and can confidently manage tasks independently. What You'll Do
Process vendor invoices, secure proper approvals, and ensure alignment with company policies and accounting standards Manage a portion of the AP inbox and oversee assigned vendor accounts Verify, classify, post, and record daily accounts payable transactions Maintain strong vendor relationships, resolving inquiries and ensuring accurate coding and posting Assist with weekly check runs, including printing, mailing, and reconciliation Support month-end close by analyzing A/P aging reports and reconciling vendor statements Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and improve efficiency Handle financial information with integrity and discretion Collaborate with accounting and finance team members as needed What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an Accounts Payable function 2+ years of hands-on AP experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for vendor and internal coordination Exceptional organizational and analytical skills Solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes Proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently Apparel industry experience (preferred) Experience with Microsoft D365 Job Type & Location
Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA. Hybrid work arrangement in Carlsbad, CA. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
