Job Summary:

The Portfolio Strategist is responsible for providing investment and wealth solutions to clients. You will interface with clients and prospective clients, anticipate their needs, seek resolution to their problems, and follow through by working with the Client Service team to provide exceptional service and analytic support. This individual will commit to working with home office for best practices and operational efficiencies and be the driver of firm initiatives.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication across various channels, ensuring exceptional service and personalized attention

Support the lead advisor in prospect and client communications

Collect and manage appropriate documentation to build out a compressive understanding of client needs and preferences for wealth and investment planning.

Wealth Strategy

Gather financial profile data to support in-depth wealth strategy discussions

Utilize eMoney and other software to present tailored solutions

Collaborate with the team’s client service member to implement wealth strategies that align with client goals

Investment Solutions

Construct recommended portfolio allocations for clients and prospects, incorporating investment research and reporting

Input orders within appropriate system and complete associated paperwork, if registered

As a registered representative, determine suitable trade activity to complement the portfolio strategies and manage cashiering needs

Review daily team reports and alerts, taking necessary actions promptly

Assist in the preparation of marketing and review reports to keep clients informed and engaged

Practice Management

Maintain CRM systems with up-to-date key client information to enhance relationship management

Support the team calendar with respect to client meetings, prospecting activities and investment manager updates

Ensure risk awareness and regulatory knowledge

Talent Management

Proactively develop personal knowledge, skills and credentials to improve service delivery

Communicate development needs to ensure continuous professional growth

Assist with onboarding new members to the firm, fostering a client-focused culture

Required Skills/Abilities:

3-5 years of wealth management or a related field

Series 7 and 66 licensed preferred or willingness to acquire a license while on the job

College degree preferred

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with Salesforce, Orion and Wealthscape preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with great attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal skills, including being polished, courteous, professional, and patient

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Possesses exceptional multi-tasking skills and strong time-management

Experience working at an independent registered investment advisor (RIA) preferred

Salary:

$120,000 – $160,000 annually, based on experience.
