is currently seeking a full time Dietary Director . The Dietary Director is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision and facility goals. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for excellence, an understanding of patient care needs and the ability to motivate and lead.
Identifies cost-effective ways to support the financials of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers
Establishes effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors
Identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement and works with management in meeting facility goals
Fully trained in culinary skills, with extensive banquet knowledge, all aspects of food preparation and production and service to all patients, employees, visitors, and catered functions
Required Skills
Associate or Bachelor degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition or related field or Dietary Manager certification
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Food Service Director in a healthcare setting
Must be flexible in work schedule and be able to work additional hours on weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays
Food sanitation certification or completion of Serve Safe Certification and Certified Food Protection Manager
Excellent communication skills

Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition or related field or Dietary Manager certification
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Food Service Director in a healthcare setting
Must be flexible in work schedule and be able to work additional hours on weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays
Food sanitation certification or completion of Serve Safe Certification and Certified Food Protection Manager
