Atlanta - Flowery Branch, GA 30542## Regional Sales Manager - Southeast**Summary:**The Regional Sales Manager will be accountable for delivering on a diverse portfolio of solutions measured by securing top-line revenue, market share, and overall profitability targets across their responsible Region.
This position will own distribution channel management, growth initiatives, the rolling 3-, 6-, and 12-month forecast (units, revenue, and GM), plan budgets, and all reports related to the Region's sales operations.
Additionally, this individual will have management responsibility for region staff, facilities, and sales initiatives to drive target-market acceptance of segment-based solutions and exceed objectives.
The Region Sales Manager will also plan and drive successful end-user, dealer, and internal staff events, training, and other thought-leadership, knowledge-sharing, and lead-generation efforts.**Essential duties and responsibilities** include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.* Manage and achieve both sales and gross margin targets.* Manage Sales and Inside Sales staff.* Establish and oversee the regional network of dealers and extended sales partners.* Represent the company at trade shows, road shows, seminars, and open houses to increase and attract new business, support Mimaki brand development, and raise product awareness.* Utilize the company's CRM system to manage sales pipeline and forecast (rolling 3-, 6-, & 12-month) for a defined Region.* Manage key P&L elements, including but not limited to Sales Promo budgets and Operational Expense (travel and entertainment).* Report daily industry observations, including end-user and distribution channel needs, market trends, and help analyze and develop segmentation, targeting, and product positioning initiatives.
Contribute to the company's success by sharing industry expertise with the Mimaki Sales and Marketing teams.* Develop and maintain presentation materials, sales aids, sample prints, and up-to-date sales tools and literature.* Train and work with dealer sales staff to develop knowledge and key skills important to closing new sales.* Plan time and activities, maintain records in the CRM, and perform required administrative tasks to ensure effective, efficient management of the Region.* Coordinate closely with Marketing on all marketing activities, product launches, and customer and dealer-facing initiatives.* Train and work with dealer technical service staff to develop knowledge and key skills important to support end users.* Handle other projects as assigned.* Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time; requires some after-hours work, including weekends.## QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
