Full‑Time Job Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics & Finance
Responsible for servicing assigned accounts including set‑up, bonding, renewals and general questions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform independent reviews on bonding requirements to determine proper coverage and identify possible deficiencies. Obtain all pertinent underwriting information, including financials, needed to maintain principals bond program. Facilitate underwriting process & communication between the surety carrier and the client to execute bonds and riders to bonds. Partner with Brokers in marketing and placement of risks. Update and maintain, powers of attorneys, etc. Process renewals, new bonds, and follow up on bond exonerations. Provide technical and problem–solving support to staff. Perform a variety of commercial lines and accounting duties in support of department and agency. Serve as a technical expert and trainer. Assist other team members in resolving complex issues. Collect fees, reconcile and resolve any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing date. Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enter and maintain complete and accurate information). Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five (5) or more years related work experience. Familiar with rating and underwriting guidelines. Valid Insurance License. SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills. Advanced analytical skills. Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills. Ability and motivation to work independently.
