Associate Director of Commercial and G&A Training

The Associate Director will play a critical role within the Learning Center of Excellence in Global Quality, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of impactful training programs for the Commercial and General & Administrative (G&A) functions. This position ensures that learning strategies meet regulatory requirements, adhere to corporate standards, and align with business goals, fostering a culture of compliance, quality, and continuous improvement across global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Strategy & Design Craft and execute a thorough training strategy for the Commercial and G&A teams, aligning it with Global Quality standards and business objectives. Collaborate with functional leaders to assess learning needs, compliance gaps, and opportunities for performance improvement. Program Development & Delivery Develop engaging, scalable, and compliant learning solutions (instructor-led, virtual, e-learning) tailored to different audiences. Oversee training content creation and maintenance to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Governance & Compliance Ensure all training programs comply with global regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. Monitor effectiveness of training programs and maintain documentation for audit readiness during inspections. Stakeholder Engagement Work with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, HR, Legal, and IT, to promote and enhance learning initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on training trends, compliance risks, and strategies for capability building. Metrics & Continuous Improvement Define KPIs and utilize data analytics to evaluate training impact and drive improvements. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to refine learning programs. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Life Sciences, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred. 8+ years of experience in learning and development, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sector. Strong understanding of R&D functions and the regulatory landscape (GxP, ICH, FDA, EMA). Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective learning programs based on adult learning principles. Proficient with learning technologies (LMS, virtual learning platforms) and data-driven training methodologies. Experience designing and executing global training programs for Commercial and G&A functions. Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and digital learning technologies.
