Position Summary:

The Senior Microsoft Solutions Consultant role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance our strategic relationship with Microsoft, focusing on the unique value we can deliver collaboratively. In this position, you will lead sales efforts by aligning innovative Microsoft technology solutions with customer needs, fostering long-term relationships, and acting as a trusted advisor to help clients meet their business objectives. Your expertise will be key in working alongside our team and Microsoft's professionals to develop tailored solutions that result in outstanding customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong sales background in Microsoft products and solutions, especially within Cybersecurity, Compliance, Modern Work, Cloud, and AI. This role requires an individual with a successful track record in engaging clients and driving business growth, who can seamlessly navigate Microsoft's portfolio without extensive training.

Key Responsibilities: Identify potential customers through Microsoft Co-selling initiatives, client referrals, industry participation, and events. Collaborate with Microsoft by conducting regular sales meetings with their team and leveraging their customer base. Drive growth in existing accounts by pinpointing opportunities to introduce additional HBS and Microsoft solutions, enhancing partnership value and customer satisfaction. Support other Solutions Consultants in promoting our Application services within their customer networks. Stay updated on Microsoft technologies and products by pursuing certifications, participating in sales meetings, and engaging in relevant industry literature. Understand Microsoft's partner sales processes to enhance HBS's sales strategies effectively. Act as a liaison between internal teams and Microsoft, aligning efforts to meet partnership goals and boost revenue. Assist technical teams by providing Microsoft customer references and relevant marketplace offers in line with fiscal priorities. Address customer inquiries regarding product offerings, pricing, and terms with expert knowledge. Create compelling proposals outlining pricing, funding, and design specifics. Conduct onsite meetings to gain insights into client needs and solidify partnerships. Maintain detailed records of customer opportunities in CRM and Microsoft Partner Center to showcase business contributions. Accurately forecast sales opportunities through the Microsoft Customer Engagement Methodology. Collaborate effectively with internal teams to allocate resources for driving revenue growth. Mentor team members by sharing insights and successful sales strategies. Demonstrate technical solutions, effectively conveying HBS's business value in client interactions. Promote our capabilities and innovative techniques across various industries nationwide. Implement sales and marketing campaigns to meet sales targets. Exceed sales goals by employing dynamic sales strategies, targeting revenues exceeding $1 million. Required Competencies: Accountability Ambition Customer Oriented Decision Making Goal Oriented Motivation Presentation Skills Relationship Building Experience Requirements: Proven sales experience, ideally in technology or consulting services. 2-5 years' experience with Microsoft solutions. Experience in co-selling with Microsoft teams. Demonstrated leadership in complex sales cycles and achieving sales goals independently. Preferred Experience: Leadership and mentorship experience. An established network within Microsoft. Education and Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong relationship-building skills. In-depth understanding of Microsoft technologies. Ability to sell Microsoft solutions across key areas. A respected personal brand within Microsoft. Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
