Job Description The Revenue Recognition team at Oracle comprises a dynamic group of accounting professionals dedicated to aligning our financial practices with the highest standards of compliance. Our objective is to empower Oracle stakeholders to navigate transactions efficiently while maximizing revenue and minimizing risk. This role is pivotal in adhering to US GAAP, internal controls, and Oracle's overall financial policies. Revenue Recognition Mission We aim to establish consistent revenue recognition practices through collaboration with stakeholders, comprehensive training, and ongoing process improvement, maintaining our responsibility as business fiduciaries. Responsibilities Stay current with Oracle's revenue recognition policies and compliance requirements.

Analyze complex transactions and formulate accounting conclusions in collaboration with internal teams.

Ensure uniform application of revenue recognition practices and champion continuous improvements.

Engage with external stakeholders to provide guidance on contract structures that optimize revenue and minimize risks.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and promote an interactive working environment.

Lead performance management for direct reports, including annual reviews and professional development plans.

Evaluate significant contracts for compliance with US GAAP and prepare technical documentation for auditors.

Maintain proficiency in Oracle systems and communication tools.

Lead special projects and encourage team collaboration in these initiatives.

Work with internal and external auditors to maintain SOX compliance and manage quarterly controls.

Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills like Spanish or Portuguese are advantageous.

Qualifications Minimum of 9 years of experience in revenue recognition and US GAAP accounting.

At least 7 years of management and leadership experience.

A degree in Business or a related field; a Master's or MBA is preferred.

Location:

The role may require adherence to specific health and immunization mandates as applicable. The hiring range is from $139,400 to $291,800 annually, with potential eligibility for bonuses and other compensation.
