Job Description:
Crowe is looking for a Senior Consultant in Loan Review to provide expert credit risk consulting services to a diverse range of clients in the financial services industry. In this role, you will:
Deliver comprehensive loan review services and undertake consulting engagements addressing credit-related issues.
Conduct in-depth financial analyses, including cash flow modeling and collateral assessments to identify potential credit risks.
Evaluate commercial loan requests to ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.
Systematically analyze and review loans to determine the adequacy of credit quality, documentation, administration, and policy compliance.
Work on various credit projects under managerial guidance while often handling certain components independently.
Support an array of financial institutions across different regions.
Take on leadership responsibilities within engagements, helping to develop client and business relationships.
Create and deliver clear, concise reports with actionable recommendations for clients.
Qualifications:
Educational and Professional Credentials:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial institutions or regulatory supervisory roles.
A graduate degree or professional certification (e.g., RMA CRC) is a plus.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Experience in leveraged lending, capital call, subscription loans, venture lending, or Asset-Based Lending (ABL) preferred, but not required.
Background in underwriting, lending, or regulatory matters; this role is not suited for consumer finance professionals.
Familiarity with various loan products and industries.
Knowledge of SBA SOP is a bonus.
Understanding of credit processes, including loan origination, underwriting, portfolio management, and loan review.
Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state banking laws regarding credit risk.
Experience with risk ratings and methodologies is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information in diverse settings.
Experience with increasing responsibilities, including supervising teams and managing multiple projects effectively.
Self-motivated, capable of prioritizing tasks independently while being resourceful in problem-solving.
Passionate about personal and team growth, and achieving shared goals.
Willing to travel as needed.

The estimated salary range for this role is $74,100.00 - $147,800.00 annually. This figure considers various factors, including skill sets, experience, certifications, and business needs.
