As a Hospital Engagement Specialist, you will cater to healthcare providers (HCPs) by utilizing in-person, virtual, and digital engagement methods. You will offer your expertise on our product offerings and their respective approved conditions, leading to enhanced patient and HCP experiences while improving local care delivery. This role is a part of our unique ecosystem approach that integrates account management, medical support, patient access, and market access teams. You will actively collaborate within this ecosystem to strengthen the patient experience in the healthcare landscape. The Hospital Engagement Specialist will report to the Area Business Lead, working closely with cross-functional teams in Medical, Market Access, and Patient Support under appropriate guidelines. You will be the primary contact for HCP customers and should have a broad expertise to provide comprehensive on-label information based on approved content. Purpose This position aims to boost customer engagement, business planning, and thought leadership. You will proactively interact with HCPs and share insights that inform strategic business decisions. Key responsibilities include: Conducting proactive outreach to HCPs on product access, on-label information, and established patient care guidelines. Utilizing various digital and virtual tools for customer engagement and referring to colleagues as needed. Organizing speaker programs and local provider groups for discussions on experiences with our products. Collecting and elevating feedback and insights to the Area Business Lead to shape local strategy and goals. Experience & Qualifications A minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical or medical device sales. Residing within 50 miles of the designated sales territory. Experience in commercial life sciences or related industries. 4 or more years in a sales role engaging HCPs, ideally with multiple products. Capability to navigate through unclear environments undergoing transformation. Demonstrated success in coaching and mentoring peers. Strong adherence to ethical business practices and regulatory standards. Ability to assimilate and communicate complex clinical information. Key Sales Capabilities Territory Analysis / Business Planning Analyze competitive data and business reports to identify sales opportunities. Maintain a deep understanding of the market to inform action plans. Provide education on payer guidelines and reimbursement procedures. Utilize promotional materials effectively. Selling Skills, Engagement & Account Pull Through Leverage internal team resources for enhanced customer engagement. Apply market insights to navigate objections and influence prescribing. Network with key opinion leaders and professional groups within the territory. Establish strong relationships with office staff focusing on patient health.
