Client Engagement Specialist

In this role, you will be the go-to resource for clients on non-technical inquiries, guiding them through document management, utilizing technology tools, and ensuring consistent communication. Collaborating closely with Partners and Managers, you will help streamline processes to guarantee the punctual delivery of tax work while also supporting essential internal functions such as billing, reporting, and data management. Key Responsibilities Client Support & Communication Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding non-technical inquiries. Request, manage, and organize necessary documents for client engagement. Follow up on critical items such as engagement letters, consents, and e-file forms. Assist clients with various tax technology tools including Suralink, TaxCaddy, and SafeSend. Provide additional support for technical inquiries when required. Partner/Manager Assistance Prepare and roll Axcess tax returns and engagement binders. Organize and save documents in Engagement, SP Binders, and GFR systems. Help with extension preparation and identify potential bottlenecks in pending returns. Compile PBC and Open Items Lists. Assist with e-file rejections and schema error resolutions. Submit engagement letters and create new returns in CCH Axcess. Prepare TEAFs and file Power of Attorney submissions. Support the billing process by generating WIP reports. Research IRS notices and assist in drafting responses. Collect financial data for quarterly estimates and coordinate with Partners on client estimations. Reporting & Technology Support Assist with due date reporting and analytics. Utilize Excel for data analysis (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP). Create custom reports tailored to team needs. Manage and update client accounts in Suralink and TaxCaddy. Review and assess incoming client documents for tax preparation readiness. Publish tax returns and relevant documents to Suralink and TaxCaddy. What We Seek Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A rapid learner who adapts quickly to new software platforms. Excellent communication and organization skills, alongside a proactive approach to problem-solving. A capability to flourish in a dynamic work environment. Dependability and integrity are essential. Education & Experience Requirements Minimum Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 5+ years in a client service-oriented environment. Administrative experience is necessary.
