Powered By Love is a people-powered nonprofit committed to uplifting unhoused and marginalized communities by providing essential resources, such as hygiene supplies, clean water, school supplies, clothing, and food, with dignity and compassion. Through our approach of “love in action,” we address everyday needs, inspire hope, and promote lasting change with a strong commitment to social justice. We need a passionate Social Media Specialist to help us amplify our message and drive engagement Key Responsibilities
Content Scheduling & Management:
Work with our marketing team to schedule and manage content using
SocialBee . Content Creation Support:
Utilize our tools and resources to generate post ideas, drafts, and engaging captions. Profile & Branding:
Ensure all social media profiles are current, branded consistently, and accurately reflect our mission and values. Engagement Monitoring:
Regularly monitor all social media channels, track key metrics, and report on post performance and audience engagement. Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing person and the Volunteer Canva Designer to ensure a cohesive visual and verbal brand strategy. What We're Looking For
Proven experience managing and growing social media accounts (or strong familiarity with major platforms). Experience with, or willingness to learn, social media scheduling tools like
SocialBee . Familiarity with leveraging AI/Generative tools (like Gemini) for content creation is a plus. Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail. A passion for our mission and community impact.
