2026-000123# What You'll Be Doing**Job Scope:** Generally responsible for planning and scheduling heavy industrial engineering projects, monitoring project costs and/or estimating projects.
Work will be performed under minimal supervision.**Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:*** Developing schedules and analysis for contract packages to forecast construction activities and identify coordination issues where safety and schedule can potentially be in conflict.* Developing, monitoring and updating schedules by obtaining updates through meetings, construction coordination interviews and field verification.* Complete understanding of Earned Value and Project Productivity.* Monitoring and maintaining the change notice/change order management system. Assisting in facilitating weekly change notice hearings and change committee meetings.* Developing, monitoring, and updating schedules. Establishing a progressive system for projects.* Assisting clients and teammates in developing construction and contract strategies for constructability of projects as it pertains to logistics and safety.* Assisting in quantity analysis for the duration of activities and for estimating purposes.# Ideal Background**Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field is highly preferred.**Certification:** AACE International or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is preferred.**Experience:** This position requires 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:*** Strong mechanical background* Able to plan work such as vessel replacements, heat exchanger replacements, pipework, etc.* Able to plan associated materials (gaskets, bolts, fasteners, etc.)* Able to produce good quality isometric drawings and the corresponding BOM* Ideally some basic structural drafting* Able to prepare complete bid packages (Excel, documentation, etc.)* Good time management and autonomy* Ability to write technical requisitions* Ability to compare technical and financial offers and provide a summary* Capability to follow up contractors in the field after purchase order* SAP knowledge or ability to learn SAP quickly**Physical Requirements:*** Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.#LI-MM2# Hargrove CultureWe work to create an environment founded on trust, personal integrity, and a “team mentality” so that each person understands the value of their contributions both on a project and company-wide level.
