Located in our growing Austin, TX market, the Director of Cardiology Services will oversee all Cardiology operations for the Austin and Waco area. This is an opportunity to manage a program at the forefront of medical technology that holds numerous accolades and distinctions including the Advanced Primary Heart Attack Center Certification from The Joint Commission and a Gold Plus Performance Award from the AHA. Responsibilities
Direct business development strategic business operations.
Organize operations to provide high quality cost effective services. Responsible for building relationships with physicians, businesses and communities in an effort to establish partnerships and affiliations. Actively identify conventional and non-conventional growth opportunities that will lead to additional volume and revenue, improving ministry's strategic positioning in the market place. Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, conflict management and other job related issues. Oversee scheduling, recruitment and payroll. Design and prioritize the strategic growth opportunities within and across markets with employers, health systems, payers, government entities, brokers, and other key potential clients or strategic partners. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of services, policies, processes, and programs delivered. Requirements
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management. Additional Preferences
