What You'll Do as an Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) We equip you with all the necessary tools to succeed and advance into a Branch Manager role! As an entry-level ABM, you will embark on an 18- to 24-month paid training program that covers the fundamentals of branch operations and management. After this training, you will manage your own branch, with relocation support provided when promoted to Branch Manager. Your primary focus will be assisting our customers in reaching their financial goals. This includes identifying opportunities to generate new loan business by engaging with current and prospective customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable consumer loan and voluntary product solutions. You'll guide customers through the loan application process and provide payment reminders when needed. You will actively contribute to the branch's success by evaluating loan applications, conducting risk analysis, making credit decisions, overseeing loan closings, and processing insurance claims. Your leadership skills will shine as you collaborate with the Branch Manager on recruitment, training, and executing plans to meet sales goals while promoting our core values and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Requirements Bachelor's degree required; ideal majors include Business, Finance, Sales, or related fields. 1 year or more of customer-facing sales experience preferred (e.g., retail sales, goal-oriented, incentive-based). Spanish speaking skills are desirable but not mandatory. Professional demeanor, a positive attitude, strong communication, and excellent customer relations skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing priorities. Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record. Must meet acceptable standards for a criminal background check, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products, as determined by a state criminal background check.
