Associate Director of Regional Accounts - Oncology PURPOSE The Associate Regional Account Director (ARAD) for Oncology is essential in driving strategic account management and uncovering growth opportunities within our Oncology product portfolio across key integrated delivery networks (IDNs), hospitals, and large community oncology and urology accounts. The ARAD will identify customer needs, develop account strategies, and implement plans through a unified, cross-functional approach. This role focuses on becoming a trusted partner with our customers in various challenging environments. The position involves up to 50% travel, and applicants must be based in the covered territory. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Build and nurture strong relationships with key account stakeholders, including C- and D-level executives. Understand the priorities and challenges faced by each account. Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance and strategy. Utilize data tools to pinpoint and capitalize on growth opportunities. Develop, implement, and assess cross-functional account plans aimed at driving product growth. Monitor product pathway status while ensuring proper positioning within relevant accounts. Provide analytical and strategic support to the Area General Manager and the broader customer team. Identify avenues for product growth in alignment with Bayer's policies and labeling. Establish long-term relationships by collaborating with stakeholders on clinical, financial, and operational topics. Participate in conferences and industry events to engage with customers and stay abreast of current trends. Analyze various data sources to prioritize key account opportunities and share insights with your team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute tailored account solutions. Mobilize the Area customer team to implement actions derived from account plans. Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with organizational goals. Engage with relevant third parties, such as GPOs and diagnostic companies, to leverage broader industry connections. Facilitate collaboration across functions to meet customer needs through diverse perspectives. WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks candidates who match the following qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare settings. 3+ years in pharmaceutical account management within IDN, hospital, or community oncology/urology sectors. Expertise in community oncology/urology GPO business models and offerings. Proven skills in business planning, problem solving, contracting, and analytics. Exceptional cross-functional influence, strong communication, and conflict resolution skills. Thorough understanding of oncology customer channels and market dynamics. Experience managing budgets effectively. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Willingness to travel by air and car up to 50%; some weekend travel may be required. The salary range for this position is $157,600.00 - $236,400.00, with potential for bonuses or commissions, as well as benefits including healthcare, vision, dental, retirement plans, paid time off, and sick leave.
