Position Overview We are seeking an Intake Specialist for the Centralized Receiving Facility – Colonial Campus. This role serves as the initial point of contact for individuals entering the Acute Care department and requires a professional and compassionate approach to care.
Serve as the initial contact for individuals entering the Acute Care department
Provide professional and compassionate treatment to all clients
Maintain safety at all times
Transport patients from Central Receiving to the appropriate facility
Operate as part of the team and communicate in a clear, calm, and positive manner with all stakeholders

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Prefer one year of direct‑care experience in behavioral health, human services, corrections, mental health, or a related field
Or the successful completion of the equivalent of 30 semester/credit hours toward an undergraduate degree in health, behavioral health, human services, or a related field (not required)
Must attain competency with the company electronic health record and use it effectively within required timeframes
