Your Opportunity:
In this pivotal role as an Applications Sales Executive, you will oversee the entire sales lifecycle—from initial outreach to contract signing. You will focus on building trusted relationships and demonstrating the value of Oracle's vertical suite of platform solutions to a select portfolio of large enterprise accounts.
We seek an Industry Sales Executive with expertise in finance, analytical solutions, or experience in financial crime investigations and anti-money laundering. Your industry knowledge will be instrumental in aligning our software applications with the pressing challenges faced by the industry. Collaborating with Oracle's top subject matter experts, consultants, and product development teams, you will resolve complex customer issues and convert their needs into tailored solutions, establishing yourself as a long-term strategic partner.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage designated enterprise accounts in the Financial Services sector and a geographic territory.
Develop and implement a territory strategy for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Foster extensive relationships with financial and insurance executives and operational stakeholders to align Oracle FSGIU solutions with their needs.
Lead collaborative pursuit teams to facilitate demonstrations, reference conversations, pricing strategies, and executive engagement.
Oversee the full sales process, including demand generation, forecasting, contract negotiation, proposal development, and closing deals.
Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, focusing on trust and alignment.
Utilize internal resources, including subject matter experts and business partners, to drive sales pipeline and influence decision-making.
Work closely with implementation, finance, legal, and support teams to ensure seamless transitions and client success post-sale.
Represent the Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications:
7+ years of sales experience in financial services, with a preference for enterprise software, analytics, business intelligence, risk & compliance, and experience in financial crime investigations.
Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles within financial institutions, banks, brokers, and insurance companies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, employing a consultative sales approach.
Willingness to travel up to 80% for client engagement, onsite visits, and conferences.
A proactive self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
Experience selling to C-suite executives in financial services and insurance sectors.
A successful track record in selling enterprise software to large financial institutions, along with existing industry relationships.
Familiarity with Oracle ERP, EPM, and Financial Crime platforms is a plus.
Role Summary:
As a primary responsibility, you will sell business application software and related services to prospective and existing clients. You’ll manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, strategy, and planning. Develop proposals that encompass all aspects of applications, negotiate pricing and contracts to close sales, and identify strategic partnerships with key influencers.
