Director of Highway Services
to join our growing Transportation practice. The Director will oversee regional operations and lead business development efforts, working closely with MJ's Director of Transportation and other regional directors to implement strategies for growth, enhance process improvements, and manage performance. This leadership role is critical for achieving regional performance goals related to client satisfaction, employee engagement, cultural alignment, talent development, strategic positioning, and financial results. Develop and execute regional growth strategies to expand highway services. Build and maintain strong relationships with DOTs, municipalities, and key clients. Lead business development initiatives, including growth targets and contract negotiations. Represent the firm at industry events to enhance visibility. Operational & Financial Management:
Set targets for revenue and profitability while monitoring financial performance. Optimize resource allocation and staffing to maximize productivity. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and quality standards. Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, mentor, and develop staff to meet performance goals. Implement quality management plans and oversee staff development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 15+ years of experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Strong experience in regional management and operations within transportation. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to organizational values and continuous improvement. Benefits & Perks: Competitive compensation range of $170,000.00-$200,000.00.
