The Purpose of Your Role As the Associate Director of Behavioral Health Programs, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our clinician teams and business operations. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards of care while upholding the core values that drive our decision-making processes and professional conduct. You will work closely with the Program Director and significantly contribute to achieving excellence in care and service for both staff and clients. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Symptom Reduction: 65% Maintain an average length of stay (ALOS) of 52 days Customer Satisfaction: 4.5 rating Achieve a facility tour rating of 90% or better Employee Satisfaction: 4.0 or better quarterly Core Responsibilities: Engage in 25 hours of face-to-face client interaction through mentoring and sessions. Maintain a caseload of 4 or more clients. Provide validation and support to clients, reducing neutralizing behaviors. Collaborate with the Program Director on clinical effectiveness and operational efficiency. Maintain documentation for high client satisfaction and effective grievance management. Oversee interventions for OCD and other mental health disorders. Implement evidence-based protocols for individual and group therapy. Provide supervision and support to staff in clinical roles. Contribute to workflow organization and problem resolution. Master crisis management and de-escalation techniques. Act as an Incident Commander when necessary. Perform additional duties as assigned. Leadership and Management: Develop motivational strategies and comprehensive treatment plans. Conduct treatment reviews to minimize unused approved days. Manage interactions with insurance companies regarding peer reviews. Initiate actions to improve employee satisfaction based on feedback. Provide regular KPI reports to assess progress. Lead and mentor staff while fostering a culture of teamwork and respect. Ensure adherence to clinical integrity and referral management. Facilitate staff training to achieve standardized KPIs. Conduct auditing and training for clinical fidelity and productivity. Manage staff requests for time and engage them in professional development. Encourage open communication and collaboration within the team. The Skills and Expertise You Have: Master's degree or higher in social work, clinical mental health counseling, or a related field. Fully licensed to practice in your state. 3-5 years of management experience. Strong business acumen. Professional demeanor and punctuality. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Able to multitask and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills. Comfortable in a dynamic work environment. Efficient in electronic data entry and proficient with Microsoft Office. Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including sitting, bending, and some lifting. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in mental health positions (2+ years). Experience in supervisory or management roles (2+ years). Strong leadership skills.
