About the Role
Join our Global Analytical Editorial Operations team as a highly collaborative and detail-oriented Legal Content Editor. In this role, you will curate and enhance U.S. legal analysis, working closely with expert authors and utilizing AI-enabled tools. Your legal insights, project management, and relationship-building skills will be essential in delivering timely and comprehensive guidance to our customers.
Responsibilities
Author & Contributor Relationships:
Recruit, onboard, and support external authors; establish clear expectations for scope and delivery. Maintain long-term productive relationships with authors; address performance issues proactively and manage contributor contracts within budgets. Domain Expertise and Content Planning:
Track legislative, regulatory, and case law developments to keep content current; identify opportunities for new content. Manage delivery plans in collaboration with Content Operations to ensure a balance between quality, speed, and cost. Editorial & Product Management:
Provide substantive updates to ensure accuracy and clarity of content across platforms; collaborate with Product Managers to align with market needs based on customer feedback. Market & Customer Engagement:
Support Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams with subject-matter expertise to improve marketing materials. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Utilize generative AI and data analytics to streamline content development and editorial processes. Participate in cross-functional initiatives to contribute to new product developments and highlight best practices. Requirements Education:
J.D. required. Experience:
1-5 years of legal practice or relevant legal publishing experience; familiarity with federal law is essential. Editorial Excellence:
Proven ability to scope requirements for new legal content and edit complex legal analysis for clarity and consistency. Tech Fluency:
Proficient in using LLMs for legal research with experience in crafting prompts and evaluating outputs. Commercial Mindset:
Ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback to drive content initiatives and foster growth. Communication & Adaptability:
