About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Credit Executive to oversee our credit department. This critical leadership position involves shaping and implementing innovative loan policies, efficiently managing the comprehensive credit and loan closing processes, and ensuring exceptional oversight of our credit operations. Your key responsibilities will include approving significant credit exposures, supervising daily credit activities, and establishing rigorous credit standards for lending.
As a key player during regulatory audits and stress testing, you will utilize your substantial delegated credit authority. We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, coupled with at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in credit roles within community or large banks, or financial services firms. A strong background in approving commercial real estate, C&I lending, SBA lending, and construction financing is essential.
This role requires a proven ability to lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals, enhancing their skills through effective training and development programs. You should excel in collaboration, effectively engaging with various internal and external stakeholders to manage and optimize credit exposure.
