Job Overview JJ Hardwood Floors Inc is seeking a high-performing and strategic Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts, strengthen client relationships, and drive new business growth. This role is perfect for a seasoned sales leader with deep experience in the residential construction or flooring industry. As Sales Manager, you’ll oversee sales operations, manage key accounts, and work closely with builders, general contractors, and homeowners to promote our hardwood flooring solutions. Lead the sales department and manage all aspects of the sales process from lead generation to closing.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, builders, and residential clients.
Identify new business opportunities and expand our market presence in high-end residential flooring.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, estimates, and proposals tailored to client needs.
Track sales performance, generate reports, and forecast future sales activity.
Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure seamless client handoffs.
Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking functions.
Coach and mentor junior sales staff as the department grows.
Qualifications 15+ years of sales experience, preferably in residential construction, flooring, or related industries.
Proven track record of success in managing key accounts and exceeding sales goals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative selling approach.
Ability to read floor plans and understand basic construction terminology.
Organized, driven, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
Associates degree or equivalent professional experience.
Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
Competitive base salary + generous sales commissions
