About The Role
As the Director of Valuation and Advisory Services at CBRE, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and performance of our various business lines. You will collaborate closely with the Managing Director and focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes, developing talent, and implementing key initiatives across the platform.
What You'll Do
Lead the performance of team members, manage workloads, ensure targets are met, and maintain adherence to guidelines and risk management protocols.
Facilitate training, development, and mentoring for direct reports while addressing any unique challenges that arise.
Engage directly with clients to establish new relationships, enhance existing ones, and focus on achieving successful client outcomes. Conduct thorough research and prepare reports for various stakeholders, promoting cross-selling opportunities within CBRE.
Drive the implementation and adoption of innovative technology initiatives that enhance productivity and ensure a high-quality service offering, all aligned with CBRE’s Digital & Technology strategy.
Represent CBRE at local industry events, showcasing your expertise and conducting research to educate your market teams.
Oversee risk management processes in line with CBRE’s Enterprise Risk Management and VAS Quality Risk Management policies.
Supervise a combination of direct and matrix reports, guiding staff in recruitment, training, performance measurement, and retention strategies.
What You'll Need A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree (MA, MS, or MBA) is preferred.
At least 7 years of experience in commercial real estate appraisal.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a role with team oversight responsibilities is preferred.
Relevant Real Estate Appraisal Licenses or professional designations are highly regarded.
Strong ability to analyze and interpret complex business documents.
In-depth understanding of financial terms and principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
