We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.**Department:**CC018420 Safety And Security**Job Description Summary:**## Position Responsibilities* Responsible for conducting all investigations as assigned, including but not limited to; missing property, theft, fraud, workplace violence, suspicious activity/persons, pilferage, collusion, etc. Reports findings to Director and assists with major investigations as part of an investigative team.* Develops & maintains strong working relationship with Risk Management team and provides investigative outcomes and advice on actions to be taken when applicable.* Implements case management and organizational skills to catalog and document all investigations in order to facilitate future research of historic records and comply with retention policies.* Capable of identifying facts that can be used as testimonial, documentary, or tangible evidence in court procedings or that can be used to support organizational corrective action. Complies with retention of all evidence and records per organizational policy and applicable laws.* Has a fundmental understanding of the U.S. criminal justice system and conducts investigations within a legally and morally acceptable framework.* Will use a multitude of investigative techniques & skills which includes but is not limited to; interviews witnesses, suspects, and victims, obtain written statements and reports, examination of crime scenes, integrity of evidence, chain of custody, use of security technology etc.* Identifies and advises Director in regards to investigative use of security techology, such as advance analytics, AI, CCTV systems, electronic access control etc.* Capable of using all applicable security technology systems in order to support investigations.* Provides Director and other MSMC leadership teams suggestions on root cause and corrective action to mitigate financial losses. Compiles and analyzes different data points relative to investigations & patient property, including but not limited to; financial recoveries, qauntity of lost property recovered, quantity of valuables recovered etc.* Responsible for overseeing the Security Department's lost property & patient belongings program, including oversight on all departmental employees relative to this program. Monitors Lost & Found system and applicable reports for compliance. Works with all other Supervisors to report compliance failures and assist with corrective actions as required.* Responsible for property room and all lost property and patient belongings once stored in said room. Organizes and maintains inventory & disposes of property as dictated by policy.* Receives assistance from Security Coordinators in contacting property owners/next of kin relative to their property and recovery of such. Provides assistance to Supervisor of Business Operations & Supervisor of Security Operations on personnel education and evaluations.* Monitors all incident reports written by security department personnel to ensure compliance with Security & Risk Management policies & SOPs and works with other department supervisors to correct deficiencies. Reports findings to Director. Provides guidance to all security department leaders on proper report writting, Risk Management policies, and investigative matters.* Maintains an active CPI certification and is capable of fulfilling Supervisor of Security Operations responsibilities when said role is temporarily vacant. Has knowledge of PSO duties.* All other tasks as assigned.## Qualifications* ### License/Registration/Certification
