The Role Proofpoint, Inc. is seeking a self‑starting, highly motivated sales professional based in Indiana to join our Named Accounts organization. This team serves large enterprise organizations across the United States and globally. The role requires a proven track record of exceeding sales goals and extensive experience as a trusted advisor to CISOs, CIOs, and other C‑level executives.

Location:

Indiana (in‑state residency required)

Your Day‑to‑Day

Establish strong executive‑level relationships and conduct advanced solution selling with enterprise accounts.

Penetrate new accounts and expand Proofpoint’s presence within existing customers by introducing the full portfolio.

Partner with the Channel organization to secure a new share of the security market.

Collaborate with our Sales and Systems Engineering team to prepare account strategies, deliver product demos and proof‑of‑concept programs.

Achieve and exceed quota.

What You Bring

Enterprise sales professional with at least 3 years of experience selling to large enterprise organizations.

Experience in Enterprise Security or Information Technology products preferred.

Proven, demonstrable track record of exceeding sales goals.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate Proofpoint’s value.

Organized, detail‑oriented, process‑oriented sales people.

Self‑starter who can work independently or as part of a team.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve difficult issues with good judgment.

Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools preferred.

BA/BS or equivalent education preferred.
