As a Senior Account Manager, you will be working closely with the client services team to manage a portfolio of pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, and consumer clients. The Senior Account Manager is the key day-to-day client contact and has responsibility for on-going partnership management ensuring that partnerships are delivered on time and on budget.

will you be doing?
Working closely with the VP, Commercial Director (Business Development Lead) and Account Director to ensure all accounts are serviced to the highest standards Understanding a client’s commercial and medical strategies, to support our medical team with strategic account planning Ensuring all activity meets or exceeds clients’ performance expectations Build long-term relationships with clients Manage budgets in line with strategy and agreed budget scope Management of all assigned client partnerships to ensure that work is delivered to an exceptional standard, on budget and on time Overseeing development of monthly reports, creating agendas for client calls, and action summaries, and removing barriers to partnership deliverables Quality control of work conducted by junior and operational/specialist members of the team Supporting the team with pitch work to drive new business The Account Manager will be expected to expand their online performance marketing industry awareness, communication and project management skills to identify new opportunities, while proactively challenging and contributing to client handling activities and playing an increasing role in strategic input. experience do you need?
Proven experience in account management, working with commercial clients within pharma/healthcare, background within medical affairs or scientific communications beneficial Previous experience in a medical communications agency is preferred Proven background in account management within Relationship Development: ability to build lasting client relationships Project Management experience is essential Experience with client services and account management Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an acute attention to detail Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, including use and creation of Excel formulas Experience of executing campaigns within other digital channels, beneficial Strong understanding of wider digital channels and environment Strong skills in PowerPoint/Google slides to create presentations for clients Presentation skills to support pitches and client meetings Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Benefits
