Position Overview

This role is focused on delivery of tradeshows and conferences , a strategic and financial investment for Shockwave, involving the planning and hands-on execution, multi-tasking, and attention to detail for both in-person and virtual programs. Balancing simultaneous projects, managing multiple stakeholders, and establishing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders are critical drivers for success. This position drives projects related to operational efficiency of greater Marketing organization and will report into the Marketing Operations Manager. Essential Job Functions

Responsible for end-to-end event program planning, project management, and logistics from initial planning to post-event program follow-up of all in-person events. Directly manage meeting suppliers including venues, show services, production companies, etc. to ensure focus on stated meeting objectives and manage vendors to ensure deliverables and timelines are successfully met. Coordinate all elements to ensure a high-quality presence at each show as needed. Set and run weekly conference planning meetings. Compiling notes and sharing out meeting outcomes and next steps. Building and running both in-person and virtual events. Assist in use of project management tools, updated documentation, event calendar, and process used for managing marketing programs & conferences. Event and lead generation platform knowledge and execution (ex. Cvent, Sales Force). Facilitate timely event lead processing within company CRM Platforms, measure event impact. Learn sales enablement platform and facilitate lead tracking/integration. Assist in compliance with documentation; production, printing, ensuring latest revision is stored in Sales Enablement Platform and Marketing repository. Assist in procurement and inventory management related to conference-related supplies (collateral, demos, branded items). Meeting planning such as ad-boards, customer dinners, customer events typically scheduled around a conference. Track and collect financial spend related to all projects. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum of five years event planning experience and CMP and/or MPI credential preferred. Experience in med device marketing cardiovascular or peripheral-vascular related products is a plus. Ability to build successful partnerships with the sales force, develop relationships with internal stakeholders. Effective communication skills with all levels of management and organizations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities. Operate as a team and independently with adaptability to changing requirements. Ideal candidate will be solution-oriented and flexible with strong problem solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. This is an office role in Santa Clara, CA. Up to 30%-40% travel expected.
