Continuous Improvement Sr Specialist (Finance)
SUMMARY The Sr CI Specialist position serves as a key person in ACIT's St Augustine factory for all activities related to implementation and maintenance of the ACIT continuous improvement system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support Factory Policy Deployment process by developing SQDC metrics where none existed or updating SQDC metrics to better reflect ongoing issues and within cells or other areas. Work with Cell Managers and Leads to improve their MDI sustainability scores. Work with all company department Leads in implementing CIS activities to improve department metrics. Support factory quarterly Productivity process and monthly reporting. Schedule and/or facilitate improvement events such as Kaizen, process improvement, 5S, or Six Sigma events, etc. Report on monthly CIS events for factory TTI metrics and CIS monthly meetings. Schedules follow-ups to all major continuous improvement events to ensure that all improvements have been sustained; follow up with key stakeholders to informally drive sustainment. Ensure 7 day and 30 day Kaizen reviews are proactive and completed in a timely manner. Work with the factory teams to lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive operational excellence. Perform daily/weekly/monthly audits as necessary to monitor the level of CIS implementation and sustainability. Champion the LEAN cause, implement and help to drive ACIT's continuous improvement program. Participate in lean manufacturing networks; training with other CIS leads and specialists within CIT and throughout ACIT. Continually work with supervisors and cell leaders to ensure continuous improvements and cultural transformation are taking place. Additional responsibilities as assigned by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma. Applied experience in Lean principles including 5S and Kaizen. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to work with and/or coach people at all levels of the organization. Proficient within MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Working knowledge of Carlisle business, production, materials, order process and systems. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with diverse groups.

Appropriate training is provided and documented based on job placement that complies with OSHA and EPA regulations.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS ASTM F‑2412‑2005, ANSI Z41‑1999, or ANSI Z41‑1991 rated safety toed shoes and clear ANSI Z87.1 safety rated glasses are required for the job.
