R2346As the Senior Director of Supply Chain, you will lead and support the development, implementation, and management of global sourcing strategies to provide Boston Dynamics with optimal flexibility, quality, and supply assurance. You will be responsible for all phases of sourcing from ideation and execution of high level supply chain strategy to ensuring that material is presented to the manufacturing line at the right time and at the right quantity. **Day to day activities:*** Design and implement high level supply chain strategy in order to ensure that supply chain is robust, competitive, portable and scalable* Organize and grow the team consisting of commodity managers, NPI sourcing, and demand planning* Lead supplier selections, execute RFPs, and influence new business award decisions* Negotiate contracts, pricing, MOQ’s and EOQ’s with vendors and contract manufacturers* Participate in establishing short-term and long-range planning and budget development to support the company’s strategic business goals* Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to identify supply risks and cost opportunities related to product design* Conduct site assessments, audits, and oversee qualifications* Plan production demand* Establish and execute appropriate workflows in collaboration with IT**Desired skills:*** Experience creating and maintaining an efficient global supply chain for complicated electro-mechanical components and assemblies, appropriate for current and future maturity state of Boston Dynamics* Seasoned understanding of electronic components, managing EOL’s, and long leads* Ability to take risks, negotiate deals, manage expectations, and help create a disciplined development process* Ability to drive results within a cross-functional, highly collaborative, and fast-paced environment* Prepared to be hands on when needed**Travel:*** Ability to travel up to 25% of the time*We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas for this position.*The base pay range for this position is between $191,331 to $280,620 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Boston Dynamics offers a generous Benefits package including medical, dental vision, 401(k), paid time off and a annual bonus structure.
