Strategic Analysis & Leadership: Define the overarching owned inventory levels for improved inventory health, including receipt flow, aging and clearance strategies for underperforming items. Executive Reporting: Prepare and present concise, high-impact inventory health reports and forecasts to the Executive Team, highlighting financial risk, opportunity, and the rationale behind strategic inventory decisions. Cross-Channel Optimization: Work with Showing Planning and Web Managers to ensure inventory layers are actively being addressed, ensuring inventory turns issues and opportunities are communicated. Cross-Functional Partnership & Collaboration: Merchandising Buyers: Create overall Sales, Gross Margin and Open to Buys plans for each category of business based on Hours from the Buyers and Programming. Work directly with Merchandising Buyers on the open-to-buy (OTB), analyze category performance, and establish appropriate receipt flows to support the hours without creating aged inventory layers. Broadcast Show Responsibilities: Oversee translation of category of business plans into Show Goals to provide direction on required financial performance by Show. Partner with the Broadcast Execution Teams to discuss inventory needs for live television programs, ensuring inventory is aligned with Broadcast schedule. Partner with Show Planning to assist in managing low generator items in order to sell thru on the Website. Accounting and Finance Teams: Collaborate closely with Accounting and Finance Teams on inventory valuation, reserve calculations, shrinkage analysis, and budgeting. This includes modeling the financial impact of various inventory investments and liquidation scenarios. Research and Modeling: Inventory Forecasting: Create and maintain a high-level Sales, Gross Margin, Inventory and Receipt model for the Fiscal Year, separated by Owned and Consigned segments. Profitability Analysis: Review profitability and turn by brand, category, and/or vendor, as needed to support buying and programming decisions. Process Improvement: Identify and champion opportunities to improve reporting and analytical tools related to inventory management and exception reporting with actionable callouts. Open-to-Buy (OTB): Lead the OTB planning process, providing analytical support to create receipt plans 3-4 months out. Manage preowned inventory levels. Financial Reconciliation: Meet with Finance, Accounting and Operations partners as needed to review inventory aging reports, assess markdown reserves, and discuss other liquidation opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience:

10+ years of progressive experience in Merchandising, Inventory Planning, and/or Business Analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership/Director-level role focused on inventory and financial management. Industry Focus:

Proven experience working in a Retail environment that includes E-commerce and/or Broadcast/Live Selling. Experience with jewelry, gemstones, or luxury goods is preferred but not required. Financial Acumen:

Deep understanding of retail math, inventory valuation methodologies, OTB management, and the financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet) as they relate to inventory. Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI) and experience working with large-scale inventory management systems. Proficiency in excel is a requirement. Communication:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical findings to C-suite and executive audiences. Benefits
