Overview VaynerMedia is a contemporary global creative and media agency that delivers impactful business results through client‑centric strategy and cultural intelligence. The Associate Director, Strategy will lead deep audience insight, media trend analysis, and cultural mining to inform strategic recommendations that modernize brand strategy for Fortune 500 clients.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Deliver compelling data‑driven insights and storytelling to clients.
Enrich client brand strategy through qualitative cultural mining and quantitative synthesis.
Apply analytical and strategic skills to solve client business problems.
Monitor the competitive landscape for data, human‑centered research, and scalable qualitative insights.
Define new cultural analysis methodologies that accelerate client transformation.
Evaluate creative concepts, provide feedback, and recommend improvement opportunities.
Facilitate brainstorms, workshops, and ideation sessions that foster creativity and innovation.
Direct strategic development of client presentations and key communications.
Brief creative teams for ideation and facilitate workshops.
Experience / Knowledge Required
5 – 7 years in a top agency building brands for Fortune 500 clients with a focus on strategic integration of consumer insights, digital behavior, and business strategy.
Proficiency in qualitative, quantitative, and behavioral research tools for insight extraction.
Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills and proven teamwork impact.
Strategic thinking with a balanced analytical and creative approach to integrated marketing planning.
Deep understanding of multi‑channel communications and brand content marketing.
Self‑motivated, initiative‑driven with the ability to identify and act on opportunities quickly.
