The
Senior Director, VIP Nightlife
is responsible for setting and leading the strategic vision for VIP guest development across assigned venues and markets. This role oversees high-level relationship management, revenue growth, brand positioning, and elite guest experience while leading teams, optimizing performance, and driving long-term loyalty among top-tier clientele. The position serves as a key leader within nightlife operations, partnering cross-functionally to ensure excellence, consistency, and profitability across the
portfolio.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Develop and execute a comprehensive VIP guest development strategy aligned with company revenue goals, brand standards, and market opportunities
Own and exceed assigned VIP revenue targets, with accountability for forecasting, pacing, and performance optimization
Analyze guest spend data, trends, and market insights to inform strategic decisions and maximize lifetime guest value
Cultivate, maintain, and expand relationships with high-net-worth individuals, influencers, tastemakers, and strategic partners
Personally manage and oversee servicing of top-tier VIP clients through hosting, networking, and experiential relationship building
Ensure flawless execution of all VIP reservations, table bookings, and personalized guest requests
Lead, mentor, and develop Guest Development, VIP Marketing Hosts, and related teams to ensure best-in-class service and results
Establish clear performance standards, KPIs, and accountability across teams
Partner with venue leadership to align staffing, training, and service execution with VIP expectations
Champion brand excellence by ensuring VIP guests receive a consistent, elevated experience across all venues
Drive cross-promotion of the full Tao Group portfolio, supporting assigned venues and markets beyond primary work locations
Oversee VIP participation in key promotional events, activations, and hosted experiences
Oversee guest data collection, CRM accuracy, and VIP segmentation strategies
Collaborate with marketing teams on targeted outreach, social engagement, and promotional initiatives
Review and analyze nightly and monthly spend reports with VIP leadership to refine strategies and optimize results
Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and service expectations
Anticipate and resolve guest issues proactively with discretion and professionalism
Support additional strategic initiatives and projects as assigned by executive leadership
Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in nightlife or hospitality
Strong business acumen with demonstrated success driving revenue and client retention
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, POS systems, and guest analytics platforms
Must be 21+ years of age
