Assistant Director of Testing Services General Statement: The Assistant Director of Testing Services provides leadership, oversight, and operational management for all college testing services across multiple campuses. This role is responsible for program administration, operational coordination, staff supervision, test security, and compliance for placement testing, high school equivalency testing, makeup exams, and other approved testing programs. The Assistant Director leads planning and implementation efforts for new testing initiatives, including preparation to become an authorized third-party testing site, and ensures a high degree of integrity, compliance, and customer service in all testing operations. The Assistant Director also provides direct proctoring support as needed to ensure continuity of services.

Supervision Received Reports to the Director of Foundational Excellence and Student Development.

Supervision Exercised Supervises the Testing Assessment Specialist, part-time proctors, and administrative support staff engaged in testing services across all locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for all testing services across multiple campus locations.

Lead planning, readiness, and implementation activities related to the expansion of testing services, including preparation to become an authorized third-party testing site.

Serve as the primary institutional point of contact for testing vendors and state agencies.

Ensure full compliance with all testing regulations, contracts, vendor requirements, and institutional policies.

Assume all duties associated with the role of GED Chief
