Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy:
Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the North America real estate division, ensuring alignment with PURPLE's overall goals and objectives.
Team Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the team, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture while mentoring and developing staff to their full potential.
Budget and Headcount Management:
Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities. Oversee headcount planning and staffing strategies to optimize team performance and deliver client success.
Senior Counsel:
Act as a strategic advisor to clients, offering insights and expertise that drive value and support achievement of their business objectives.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring outstanding service delivery and satisfaction across the portfolio.
Cultural Placemaking:
Leverage deep experience in design and architecture to enhance cultural placemaking initiatives, ensuring that projects resonate with community identity and elevate the client’s brand presence.
Business Development:
Lead initiatives to identify and pursue new business opportunities, enhancing the division's presence and growing client relationships within the real estate sector.
Program Leadership:
Manage high-profile client programs and campaigns from conceptualization through execution, ensuring they meet strategic objectives while respecting budgets and timelines.
Media and Influencer Engagement:
Drive media relations efforts, leveraging superior contacts with reporters in real estate, business, design, architecture, trade, culture, and hospitality to secure extensive brand coverage and endorsements.
Pitching Expertise:
Demonstrate strong relationships and pitching skills to effectively communicate client stories and initiatives, ensuring favorable media placements and partnerships.
Crisis Management:
Develop and implement effective crisis communication strategies to protect and enhance client reputations, navigating sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
Market Expertise:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities, leveraging insights to position PURPLE as a thought leader in real estate and cultural placemaking.
Cultural Relevance:
Maintain a deep understanding of related sectors, including design, art, luxury, and lifestyle, to inform strategic communications and align with market expectations.
Global Coordination:

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience:
10+ years of public relations experience, with a proven track record in the real estate sector. Experience working with mixed-use developments, high-end luxury residential, retail, commercial, and branded residences.
Leadership Acumen:
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, managing account executives and other staff to achieve high levels of performance.
Budgeting and Financial Acumen:
Strong experience in managing departmental budgets and resources efficiently to maximize impact and productivity.
Exceptional Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.
Design and Architecture Experience:
Deep knowledge and experience in design and architecture, with an ability to integrate these elements into comprehensive PR strategies and initiatives.
Problem-Solving Skills:
