Senior Director, Corporate FP&A

The Senior Director, Corporate FP&A reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and leads all enterprise-level financial planning and analysis activities. This executive role partners closely with senior leadership to shape financial strategy, deliver actionable insights, and support informed decision-making across the organization. The position serves as a key member of the senior finance leadership team.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership

Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CFO and executive leadership.

Lead long-range financial planning, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting processes, providing an enterprise-wide financial perspective.

Translate business strategy into financial plans, KPIs, and performance metrics.

Financial Analysis & Business Insights

Deliver clear, data-driven analysis on financial performance, trends, and risks to enhance profitability, cost management, and ROI.

Develop executive-level dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership reviews.

Evaluate investment opportunities, M&A activity, and other strategic financial decisions.

Support board-level materials and executive communications in partnership with the CFO.

Performance Management

Influence cross-functional partners to improve profitability, cost discipline, and returns.

Monitor variances against budget and forecast, analyze underlying drivers, and recommend corrective actions.

Drive accountability through financial targets and performance metrics.

Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

Lead the financial and executive components of the monthly Integrated Business Planning process.

Partner with Sales and Operations teams to support demand and supply planning within the IBP framework.

Ensure alignment between financial objectives, operational plans, and broader business strategies.

Team Leadership & Development

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing FP&A team.

Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Champion the adoption and enhancement of financial systems, planning tools, and analytics.

Lead change management efforts related to process and systems implementations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.

8–10 years of progressive finance experience, including significant FP&A leadership.

Consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience required; manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Proven ability to partner effectively with executive leadership.

Deep expertise in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and business case development.

Experience designing and implementing financial tools for business stakeholders.

Background supporting acquisition evaluation and due diligence activities.

Advanced financial modeling, systems, and business intelligence/dashboard capabilities.

Exceptional communication, influence, and leadership skills.

Demonstrated success building and developing high-performing teams.

Private equity or investment banking experience is a plus.
