
Reporting to the Global Architect and Security Manager and based at the HUB in Flémalle (Belgium), the Cybersecurity Lead will oversee security projects across Europe and support the organization’s security operations. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring networks for vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation with Infrastructure and Operations teams, issuing technical advisories, and contributing to ongoing security initiatives.
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls at each local site in Europe. Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and audits to identify and mitigate threats; lead incident response efforts including investigation, containment, communication, and remediation; collaborate with the Global Security Operations team to align with corporate cybersecurity standards; participate in ongoing security projects (e.g., NIS2) and other Security Operations tasks as assigned. Promote cybersecurity awareness and training among local staff and monitor adherence. Monitor and report on cybersecurity performance (KPIs), incidents, and compliance metrics. Manage relationships with local vendors and service providers to ensure compliance with security standards. Work with operations and engineering teams to secure production systems without impacting safety or availability. Monitor OT environments for anomalies, unauthorized changes, and potential cyber threats; support compliance with industry standards for OT security (e.g., IEC 62443, NIS2). Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, NIS2). NIS2 implementation experience is a key asset. Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management. Strong expertise in Windows and Unix operating systems. Ability to identify and remediate network vulnerabilities. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with different stakeholders. Experience applying security patches in an industrial network and with IDS and IPS operation. Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken; French is an asset.
