City of Delaware – Recreation Superintendent The City of Delaware is accepting applications for the position of Recreation Superintendent! Recreation is the intersection of leisure, inclusivity, and community engagement. You can be a part of ensuring that recreation remains accessible, inclusive and engaging while helping youth and adults grow in skill development and self-esteem. The Recreation Program Superintendent will work to further advance the health, resiliency and overall well-being of the Delaware community through developing, implementing and overseeing recreation opportunities that address the needs and interests identified in the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

Under the direction of the Director of Parks & Recreation, the Recreation Program Superintendent oversees City sponsored recreation activities, recreation facilities and the Jack Florance outdoor swimming pool. This position is subject to emergency callouts and must be able to work overtime including nights and weekends and stand-by as required.
