Senior Director, Finance Marketing Services Team We are seeking a strong Finance leader to join our Marketing Services Finance team. The Global Finance team supports one of the fastest growth engines at Visa, and closely partners with the leaders across Global and Regional teams. This is a terrific opportunity to partner with senior executives to deliver an ambitious strategic and financial agenda for Visa.

The Senior Director will serve as a deputy CFO for the Marketing Services and will manage the end-to-end scope of FP&A for the business unit. The role holder will be leading a high-performance team focused on Strategic financial planning, performance management reporting and commercial strategy in collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders.

This role is pivotal in VAS Marketing Strategy, driving pricing plan, and ensuring maximum ROI across global and regional markets. The Finance Director will partner closely with Global teams in VAS, Marketing function, Legal, and Regional Marketing Services teams in go-to-market strategy, develop scalable programs, and maximize financial outcomes for Visa.

The position involves deriving important insights and effectively communicating with senior finance leaders and executive management of Visa Value Added Services. The ideal candidate will have a background within Marketing or Consulting industry with deep expertise in strategic finance, financial analysis, and business partnering, and demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Partner closely with cross-regional and cross-functional Finance leads to understand revenue drivers and elevate the level of analysis around revenue and related costs

Drive VAS Marketing revenue targets aligned with FY26+ growth strategy.

Develop frameworks for commercializing VAS Marketing assets globally and create standardized playbooks and margin targets for client deals.

Partner closely with Global Marketing services leads in developing multi-year strategic roadmap

Support the negotiations and contracting for VAS Marketing client deals, ensuring compliance and commercial due diligence.

Surface upsell/cross-sell opportunities in our client engagements.

Establish and grow strong relationships with a broad base of business stakeholders as a valued business partner

Align functional goals and strategies to broader global initiatives

Develop and present strategic insights about the Marketing Services business

Lead key financial activities for the Marketing Services, including multi-year strategic planning, annual financial planning, quarterly outlook and business reviews, month-end analytics and management reporting, and on-going financial risks and opportunities assessment

Provide meaningful driver-based analytics and insights to senior leadership about the Marketing Services’ financial performance and forward-looking outlook

Understand business levers and recommend measures to further improve financial results and business margins, while assessing financial risks and opportunities, and evaluating options to optimize return on investments

Establish efficient processes and expand the reporting and analytics capabilities across broader Advisory Services under VAS

Oversee asset inventory tracking and utilization across regions.

Collaborate with Global Marketing function and Regional Marketing Services Partners.

Manage end-to-end delivery of the financials related to VAS marketing assets activations.

Assess net-new VAS Marketing opportunities and commercial potential with highest ROI.

Build best-in-class Financial and commercial evaluation frameworks and case study libraries for global reapplication.

Operational Excellence

Spearhead a variety of projects to further improve the overall performance of the business partnership and support for Advisory and Finance organizations

Decision support to senior finance leadership on investment / project decisions as well as strategic organizational and functional developments

Provide thought leadership and guidance over core processes building efficiencies and streamlining deliverables

Implement standardized OKRs and reporting mechanisms for VAS Marketing assets performance.

Ensure timely risk escalation on scope, revenue, and expense.

People Management

Mentor and coach team members by instilling best practices across finance and eliminating inefficiencies through ruthless prioritization and focusing on impact

Cultivate strong relationships and communicate effectively with cross-functional and multi-geographical stakeholders

Influence, motivate and collaborate with key business partners and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience

14 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 10-12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 8+ years of work experience with a PhD

A successful track record of progression in a well-disciplined organization where best practices are integral to the management of the business

Prior experience in Marketing Consulting, sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing preferred.

Proven track record in pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and global deal execution.

Extensive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (or similar)

5+ years’ experience of successfully leading and managing highly matrixed teams

Proactive, strategic thinker with Strong analytical and project management skills

Commercial focus and ability to solve problems through structured approach, with ability to communicate effectively with executive management

Ability to work effectively with other functional areas and understand the operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results

Client focused with tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts

High energy and enthusiasm required to partner with multiple stakeholders

Able to work in a matrix environment

Work Hours Vary upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY 210,900.00 to 369,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
