Role Overview The Microsoft Dynamics Business Analyst works closely with the Platform Architect to ensure business requirements are translated into secure, scalable, and effective technical designs across the Dynamics 365 and Power Apps ecosystem. This role combines deep CRM expertise with strong consulting, communication, and solution-design skills to support both delivery and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and optimize
Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Apps
solutions to deliver new capabilities.
Lead requirements gathering and business process analysis, including as-is and to-be modeling.
Translate complex customer requirements into practical, secure, and scalable solution architectures.
Advise project teams on specialized and complex Dynamics CRM implementations.
Serve as the technical subject matter expert during proposal development and client presentations.
Deliver presentations to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
Support functional design of data conversions, system integrations, and interfaces.
Guide technical teams on Microsoft Dynamics CRM APIs and integration development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of hands‑on Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience .
U.S. Citizenship (contractual requirement).
Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent.
Ability to work in a
hybrid
environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage C‑level and senior leadership.
Proven experience building strong business cases supported by clear value propositions.
Demonstrated expertise in gathering business requirements and configuring Dynamics CRM modules (Sales, Call Center).
Experience leading functional design for system integrations and conversions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a
Big 4 consulting firm , established consulting firm, or Microsoft Gold Partner.
Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience working with
public sector clients .
Familiarity with
Agile or Hybrid-Agile
delivery methodologies.
Compensation
Annual Salary Range:
$92,000 – $153,000 Compensation is based on multiple factors, including experience, skill set, certifications, location, and business needs. This role may also be eligible for a discretionary variable incentive bonus.
