Quality Control work done by less-experienced designers./ppstrongWhat Youll Need to Be Successful:/strong/ppLeads a team of designers on large projects./ppMonitors long term project deadlines and ensures deliverables are met./ppQC work done by less-experienced designers/ppRepresents Southland plumbing design to all project parties and attends in person meetings with owners, general contractors and AHJs/ppStrong PM skills including creation of projections, plumbing design budget management and ability to produce and follow change orders Ability to manage multiple designers to meet deliverables, deadlines, and objectives/ppCompletes calculations, drawings and specifications related to fire suppression and detection systems for large projects/ppOversees entire lifecycle of large projects as it pertains to plumbing including layout, permit procurement, field surveys, coordination, creation of fabrication lists, answering and assist with field generated questions, RFI creation, and as-builts./ppWorks under general supervision/ppRegularly exercises discretion and independent judgment/ppMakes decisions based on issue and possible course of action/ppMay supervise a few engineers and/or technicians on a project basis/ppstrongWhat You Bring to the Table:/strong/ppHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. required/ppAssociates Degree preferred/ppstrongYou Matter/strong/ppPeople First: Building Talent by Design/ppAt Southland we aspire to build a workforce thats as diverse as the people who occupy the buildings we design, build and maintain.
