A nonprofit fostering inclusion for individuals with special needs through programs powered by teen and adult volunteers. Mitzvah Kitchen

A volunteer-powered movement providing fresh kosher meals to those facing food insecurity through community cooking experiences.

These organizations work together to inspire community, compassion, and connection. Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic strategic

Marketing & Communications Manager

to lead and execute all marketing initiatives across the three organizations. This role combines high-level strategy with hands-on execution, overseeing branding, fundraising marketing, event promotion, program awareness, and digital communications. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, mission-driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders. This position is part of the

Leadership Team

and plays a vital role in shaping the public voice and visibility of all three organizations. Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Brand Development Develop and implement marketing strategies to support fundraising campaigns, events, programs, and community engagement. Maintain cohesive and consistent branding across all organizations and communication channels. Manage and execute the annual marketing calendar with clear timelines and deliverables. Oversee design, content creation, and production of marketing materials (print, video, digital, email, social media). Collaborate with the development team to create donor campaigns, impact storytelling, and supportive marketing collateral. Lead the marketing and communications for major events, including galas, walks, campus events, and community initiatives. Ensure all event communications (registration pages, advertisements, signage, emails) are on-brand and delivered on time.

Program & Community Marketing

Work with program directors across Chabad, Friendship Circle of Miami, and Mitzvah Kitchen to promote ongoing programs and activities. Develop strategic outreach to attract families, volunteers, donors, and community partners. Increase organizational visibility through social media, newsletters, website updates, and storytelling. Lead internal marketing meetings, manage timelines, and assign responsibilities. Supervise interns or marketing assistants, fostering creativity, collaboration, and accountability. Manage external partners including graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and printers.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred. 35+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or similar roles. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Proficient in tools such as Canva/Adobe Suite, social scheduling tools, and Google Analytics. Experience in nonprofit or community-based marketing preferred. Strategic & Vision-Oriented Understands organizational goals and translates them into marketing initiatives. Collaborative Leader Works across departments and organizations with empathy and professionalism. Creative & Innovative Brings fresh ideas to campaigns, branding, and outreach. Detail-Oriented & Organized Manages timelines, projects, and deliverables with precision. Strong Communicator Clear, persuasive, and confident in written and verbal communication.

Compensation & Schedule

Full-time, salaried onsite senior leadership position with competitive compensation commensurate with experience. Schedule includes weekdays, with flexibility for evenings, Sundays, and special events.
