Sales Consultant / Project Estimator - Home Improvement Services Location: near Walden, NY Salary: $45,000 Base + Uncapped Commission (1st yr OTE $70k+) + Company Car Benefits: Holidays, PTO, Laptop, iPad, Cell, Company Car + Gas Job Type: Full-Time Typical Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week; some Saturdays as needed Travel: 75% within 50 miles of Walden, NY in company vehicle (home same day, no overnights) Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not available Sa Sales Consultant /Project Estimator - Home Improvement Services Description Our client in the home improvement services industry is looking for a Sales Consultant /Project Estimator to join their team near Walden, NY to help develop and serve their residential customers. Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing warm leads provided by the company (90%) while generating the remaining 10% on your own.
This is NOT a door-to-door sales role and NO cold calling —
instead , you’ll focus on scheduling meetings with customers, estimating jobs, and following through
to secure the project, resolving any issues that may come up. The time from estimate to signed agreement is about two weeks, and consistent follow-up is key to securing the business. This role is ideal for individuals with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, who are self-motivated and thrive in a proactive, customer-focused role. Travel to customer job sites Quote/estimate customer jobs Meet and exceed sales goals Advise customers on-site or during calls Upsell customers wherever necessary for a complete job Prioritize customers to ensure all customers are fully satisfied with the service Meet with manager and team on regular basis Set own schedule, ensuring customer homes are visited as soon as possible for quotes Stay up to date on product knowledge Qualifications
Experience and/or knowledge in home services or residential construction required Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI tools required Valid driver’s license required Ability to travel regularly within 50 miles of Walden, NY (using company vehicle/gas) required
