About the Role

We are seeking a commercially driven Managing Director to establish and lead our client’s U.S. operations. As the first U.S. hire , you will own all U.S. procurement and operational strategy , acting as the senior authority on sourcing, supplier relationships, and trading performance within the U.S. market.

This role is ideal for a senior procurement or ITAD trading leader who wants to build a best-in-class sourcing function , shape supplier strategy, and directly influence global inventory flow and margins.

What You’ll Own

  • Full ownership of U.S. procurement strategy across OEMs, ODMs, distributors, and brokers

  • Authority over supplier selection, commercial frameworks, and buying strategy

  • End-to-end P&L responsibility tied directly to procurement performance

  • A key role in shaping global sourcing and trading strategy

What You’ll Do

  • Build and scale U.S. procurement and trading operations from the ground up

  • Lead high-value negotiations on pricing, MOQs, lead times, rebates, and supply agreements

  • Secure OEM surplus, factory-direct, and secondary-market inventory

  • Oversee North American ITAD operations to support value recovery and resale

  • Develop long-term supplier partnerships that drive inventory velocity and margin

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in IT hardware procurement, ITAD trading, or OEM/ODM sourcing

  • Deep understanding of data center hardware supply chains

  • Strong supplier and broker relationships in the U.S. and globally

  • Proven success leading procurement-led P&L operations
